Mrs Maggie Pollock

HEAD OF JUNIOR SCHOOL

As Head Teacher of the Junior School, Mrs Maggie Pollock is responsible for the overall strategic leadership and management of the Kindergarten and Junior School.

Mrs Pollock has overall responsibility for policy and practice, including implementation of an innovative, relevant and ambitious curriculum, as well as devising the Junior School Improvement Plan.

She has responsibility for the overall programme and leadership of daily assemblies, oversees the professional development of all Junior School staff, including the organisation of a programme of professional learning opportunities, and provides oversight of the appointment of new Kindergarten and Junior School staff.

Mrs Pollock acts as a parental and community liaison, promoting the Junior School to prospective parents and playing a pivotal role in the selection of new pupils, as well as acting as the Child Protection Coordinator for the Junior School.
