Four High School rowing squads have followed a dedicated and intense programme of early morning training throughout the term, culminating in two teams winning national Gold medals at the Scottish Indoor Championships at Ravenscraig Sports Facility in Motherwell last week.

Aiming to repeat their runaway success as last year's S4 Scottish Champions, the S5 Boys' Team of Angus BarrettBen HuttonScott McDonald and Tommy Whitelaw were once again clear winners in the 2km race. In fact, they were even able to beat their own School record by over seven seconds, streaking to the line in 5:47.9 and becoming Scottish champions for the second year in succession.
