Eight High School skiers competed in the British Schools' Skiing Championships at Pontypool Ski Centre, Wales on Sunday 19th November.

The event saw skiers take part in two dry slope runs, with the individual results decided by these two runs being added together for an overall time. Isla Petrie (S6) was the best placed High School girl in 27th position, while Séamus Keaney (S5) was the best placed High School boy in 29th place.

The overall team result takes the six best times set by the four individuals of each school team to reach an overall final time. The girls' team of Isla, Eve Downie (S5), Aoife Petrie (S4) and Amy Ashton (S1) were able to finish 11th overall in the UK, with the boys' team of Séamus, Thomas Pover (S6), Harry Pover and Maxwell Wang (both S2) not far behind in their competition, finishing in 13th position.
