The Girls 7-a-side football side were victorious at the Scottish Independent Schools’ Football Association U18s Tournament at George Heriot’s School in Edinburgh on Monday 14th March.

The tournament, which took a league format, saw the team of Oli Crawford (Captain), Sammy Bell, Mirrin Gillespie, Stephanie Wood (all S5), Sarah Turnbull, Lucy Williamson (both S3), Georgia Crooks, Mhairi Crooks, Yemisi Edgar (all S2) and Christina Miller (S1), pick up three impressive victories - 1-0 over George Watson's College, with Captain, Oli Crawford scoring the winner; 3-0 over Strathallan school thanks to a Mhairi Crooks hat-trick; and 6-0 over Greenfaulds High School, with Oli and Sammy Bell scoring twice each, and Georgia Crooks and Christina Miller both scoring.

Their coach, Mrs Mhairi Peek, was full of praise for the girls, describing them as "excellent all over the pitch" and commending their victory without conceding a single goal throughout the tournament.

The next SISFA finals tournament sees the U13 girls' side compete in mid-May.
