There has been further success in the field of girls' football recently, with the U15 7-a-side team winning the Scottish Independent Schools' Football Association U15 title. This comes hot on the heels of the U18 side winning the U18s competition back in March.

The team of Lucy Williamson (Captain), Helena GronskiEmily SillarsSarah TurnbullEmily Taylor (all S3), Georgia Crooks, Mhairi CrooksYemisi Edgar (all S2), Christina Miller and Jennifer Cuthill (both S1) faced Mary Erskine School in Edinburgh recently for the semi final, running out comfortable 5-2 victors.

They advanced to face George Heriot's School in the final at Old Anniesland, with the girls again playing well to win 4-1, thanks, in no small part, to a Mhairi Crooks final hat-trick! Coach, Mrs Mhairi Peek, was delighted with the efforts of the girls and the fact they had added to the success of the U18 girls' side.
