Senior School

In order to be a part of the main admissions cohort starting at the beginning of the next school session in August, applications must be submitted by the January ahead of the Entrance Assessments. We encourage parents to apply as early as possible during the Autumn Term.

Outside of the main admissions process, applications can be submitted at any point throughout the year and are subject to space in the desired year group and completion of a successful Entrance Assessment/interview (depending on year group). Should a place be available for the stage you are applying for, we are happy to accommodate for your child joining at a later point in the session.

Children join Transitus (Primary 7 equivalent) at the Senior School around age 10. Our main points of entry at the Senior School are Transitus and Senior 1. Pupils also tend to join at the start of an SQA examination year (ie Senior 3, Senior 5 or Senior 6) subject to availability.

Including our Transitus year, there are 7 years in Senior School.
