Parent Association
Aims
-
To support the School in providing quality education appropriate to the individual needs of pupils, and to maximise the potential of every pupil by:
-
Promoting cooperation and open communication within the school community.
-
Welcoming new parents to the School and making them feel at home within our community.
-
Promoting projects and events intended for the benefit of the pupils, the school community or for other charitable purposes.
-
The Association also host a lost property service throughout term time in an attempt to repatriate lost items with their owners. This happens on a regular basis, usually during breaks and lunchtimes.
Uniform Sales
A second hand uniform sale runs at least four times a year, handy for those looking to pick up a replacement blazer or extra hockey shirt!
We encourage parents with any spare items of new or used sports kit, blazers, kilts, official outfitters trousers or shorts to donate these to our Junior or Senior School offices, clearly marked 'Uniform Sale', and give them a new lease of life! Alternatively, you can email us and we will get in touch to arrange collection from you.
Events
We host a number of events throughout the school year, including an evening early in the session to welcome new parents to the School.
Profits from events are either donated to charities or to the School itself, for the benefit of the children.
In recent times, a ladies' lunch and fashion show raised £21,000 for Action for Children, while other activities helped fund exciting projects at our school.
Get Involved!
The Parent Association are always looking for volunteers, whether that be offering help in organizing and running events or becoming part of our uniform sales team. You can help for as little or as long as you like - there is no obligation!
