The High School of Glasgow

Two locations, two buildings, one school sharing the same ethos and community.

Our Kindergarten, based within the Junior School, provides the first steps on your child's journey through the High School.

Our spacious Kindergarten facilities provide room for all children to play, learn, be inspired and have fun.

From baking cookies, to playing dress-up, to learning on our interactive white board, every day is different and every day is fun!

Junior School

Our Junior School is situated in the heart of Bearsden.

The refurbished Victorian building combines historic features with new first class facilities. With numerous outdoor spaces for the pupils to enjoy and explore, to a dedicated library, gym and the latest computing equipment to encourage all pupils' development.

Senior School

The Senior School, based in Anniesland, welcomes up to 700 pupils year-on-year.

The school follows a curriculum designed to challenge and stimulate pupils, to offer a broad, balanced education without excessive specialisation and to provide an academic framework which allows pupils to develop their individual strengths.

Out of School Care

Out of School Care is available for children from Kindergarten to Junior 6.

It is held daily during term time from 3pm until 5:55pm and from 8:00am to 5:55pm during the holiday periods: the October and February weeks’ holiday, one week at Easter and four weeks in the summer holidays (late July/August).

A wide range of activities is on offer, including craft work, baking, outdoor sports, indoor games or just sitting in the quiet area doing homework or reading.

Pupils can be booked into the club on a regular or flexible basis. They can be booked in for single days, or they can have regular times booked for each week.

A booklet with further information and booking forms can be downloaded from the School Parent Portal.
