Welcome back to 'Our New Normal'

With all pupils due to return to School for the summer term, we appreciate that things may still seem rather different. Here, you will find all information relating to changes in how The High School of Glasgow will function during this time. In line with guidance, please find below a risk assessment document, updated weekly, relating to the re-opening of the school during the current pandemic.

Senior School

Welcome back to the Senior School at Old Anniesland. We are delighted to have pupils and staff back in the school buildings for the first time since March.

There are a few changes that we have had to make in and around the school to make the buildings and grounds safe for pupils and staff.

From when pupils are to arrive at school each day and how they will travel around the corridors, to how classrooms will work and the vital importance of personal hygiene to everyone's safety, this video highlights the key changes in day-to-day life at Old Anniesland.

Once again. welcome back for session 2020-21.

Junior School

Welcome back to the Junior School at Ledcameroch Road. We are excited to have everyone back, including our new Kindergarten and Junior 1 pupils.

We know that things may seem very different as pupils return to school life for the first time in nearly six months, but rest assured that preparations have been put in place within the building, in the surrounding grounds and around the entrance to the School in order to make sure that daily life is safe for pupils, staff and parents as Junior School children return to school.

This video will highlight a number of these changes including how pupils should arrive and enter the building, the importance of sanitising hands on a regular basis, how pupils should move within the building and changes to when and where Junior School pupils will depart at the end of each day.

Visitor Guidelines

We want you to feel at ease when you have the chance to come and visit us at either our Junior or Senior School. Therefore, at this time, we are asking visitors to follow a few simple guidelines in order to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of our pupils and staff.
