SQA Exam Results 2020

5 August 2020 | Tagged: Senior School

The cancellation of SQA exams due to COVID-19 this year, the first time in the 132 year history of the SQA, caused understandable anxiety and concern for affected pupils and families along with significant work and responsibility for Senior School teaching staff.

Despite some mixed feelings with the outcome of SQA moderated results on Tuesday 4th August, pupils, teachers and families were understandably delighted to see the Scottish Government amend the approach to results on Tuesday 11th August. This change recognised the individual estimates of schools and therefore allowed for a more accurate reflection of the hard work and dedication of pupils and staff. Well done to pupils and teachers for their dedication and resilience throughout a most challenging period and thank you to parents whose support and understanding has been unwavering over the past few months.
