1st XI Girls are BP Cup Finalists!

The High School of Glasgow Girls' Hockey 1st XI will contest the BP Cup Final for the third consecutive year after defeating Hutchesons' Grammar School at Old Anniesland yesterday.

Following on from winning their section earlier in this term, the team saw off the challenge of Hutchesons' on penalties, following a 1-1 draw in regular time. Anna Pover, Charlotte Simmers (both S6) and Zara Kennedy (S4) held their nerve to net penalties, while goalkeeper Jessica Mitchell (S4) made two crucial stops as The High School won the shoot-out 3-1.

The School now go on to contest the final on Wednesday 4th December at the National Hockey Centre, Glasgow Green, facing either St Aloysius College or The Glasgow Academy, seeking to win the trophy for a third consecutive year.
