Italian Charity Cycle

23 May 2019 | Tagged: Senior School

Business Studies Teacher Mrs Lin Milne is cycling from Milan to Venice later this year to raise money as part of 'Women v Cancer', a series of women-only cycle challenges in aid of Breast Cancer Care, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action.

Three years ago, Lin (pictured above, left) cycled from London to Paris to raise money for Unite Against Cancer - this time she will head to the (hopefully!) sunnier climes of Northern Italy in October, beginning her charity cycle in Milan and heading nearly 300km east to Venice, all to help raise vital funds in the fight against breast, cervical and ovarian cancers.

Lin needs to raise her £1,600 fundraising target by July in order to take part in the cycle and is hoping for the help of the High School community - any donation, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated. Donations will be distributed equally between the three aforementioned charities.
