Clyde House Fundraising Week

14 March 2019 | Tagged: Senior School, School Community, Events

Clyde House hosted the penultimate Fundraising Week of the 2018-19 session at the Senior School in February, raising nearly £3,000 for Includema Glasgow based charity that provides support to young people and families in challenging circumstances.

Pupils enjoyed a week of fun activities including the Clyde House Show and the chance to once again 'soak-a-sixth-year'. Sweet treats were on offer at Clyde House's cake and candy stall and the Clyde Cafe, while Sixth Year pupils enjoyed a comprehensive victory over the school staff in the 'Teachers vs Sixth Year' football match.

The Fundraising 'Week' turned into a Fundraising 'Weekend', with a number of staff and pupils running the first ever 'Clyde Stride' on Sunday 3rd March, taking part in either a 10 mile route visiting all 15 of the Glasgow subway stations or a shorter 5km route from Partick subway station to Buchanan Street.

You can see some pictures from the week, including the brave Clyde Striders, below.
