Synchronised Swimming Stars!

High School pupils won a number of medals in the Scottish National Age Group Synchronised Swimming Championships at Drumchapel Pool on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June.

Emily Gill of First Year had a particularly productive weekend, becoming the 13-15 age group national figure champion, winning the Dawn Zajac trophy for her solo routine and becoming the new Scottish 13-15 champion. Emily and Niamh Docherty (S1) also won Silver medals in the 13-15 Years Duet and as part of the 13-15 age group team.

Gabriella Smart, Tabitha Steven, Lana Wallace (all S4) and their Clydebank ASC teammate Kirsten McEwan won Gold in the National Open Technical Team competition. Alongside Clydebank ASC partner Kirsten, Tabitha also won Silver medals in the Junior Duet, National Open Free Duet and National Open Technical Duet competitions. She also achieved a Bronze medal the Junior Elements solo competition.
