High School sailors enjoyed success out on the open water recently in the 2019 Laird Trophy Competition.

Taking place at Bardowie Loch on Saturday 22nd June, the event acts as a Scottish inter-schools competition with teams of two sailors competing in double handed boats called 'Fevas' in a round robin qualifying series. The top six boats then qualified for the final medal race.

Brothers Gordon (S5) and Alex Sivarajan (S2) won the medal race and thus the Laird Trophy, with the team of Campbell Graham and Alex Sevic (both S2) finishing the day as runners up.

The four boys can be seen above.
