Moore House have raised more than £3,000 for HopScotch Children's Charity during the final House Fundraising Week of 2019.
Senior pupils and staff enthusiastically took part in a number of fun activities throughout the school - from having the chance to pelt S6 pupils and teaching staff with water balloons during a Mario Kart race around the playground, to a lively House Show re-enacting the TV game show 'A League of Their Own' and a positively chaotic 'House Mascot Rumble' in the Assembly Hall on Friday.
For the more sedate, 'Slipper Tuesday' saw a number of pupils and staff relish a day of comfier footwear, perfect for enjoying the hot chocolate, mince pies and festive treats on offer in the courtyard. Meanwhile, 'Moore Munch' returned the following day, offering 'mock-tales' and chocolate-coated churros to warm the stomachs of all.
At the end of a busy week, Moore House raised just over £3,000, money which will go towards the Edinburgh-based HopScotch Children's Charity. The charity offers respite breaks to vulnerable and disadvantaged children who are facing life-changing and challenging circumstances.
