Junior School Hit the High Note for Glasgow Children's Hospital

13 December 2019

High School of Glasgow Junior School pupils have pulled together their singing and performing talents to raise over £1,880 for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.

Junior 1 pupils led the charge in this year's fundraising by performing their Christmas Nativity to family and friends and for two local church groups. The young pupils also decided to follow this spectacular performance with their very own Christmas Fayre, selling their homemade festive gifts and decorations. The Junior 1 event raised over £750 from generous family and friends.

The Junior 1 pupils were joined by J2-J6 pupils at the Senior School for their full Christmas Concert, 'Back to the Manger'. The show was a huge hit, filled with narration from all year groups, singing, dancing and the Junior Chamber Choir angelic performance of 'Away in a Manger'. Family, friends and invited guests of the School kindly donated over £1,000 at the event through bucket collections.
