Law House brought the fundraising to a close for session 2017/18 with an enjoyable week of events on the penultimate week of the spring term, raising money for the Blantyre Blantyre Project in Malawi.

Pupils enjoyed a week of energetic events including a highly competitive ping pong tournament, the chance to 'Soak-a-Sixth-Year' and the 'Hang Tough' challenge in the School gymnasium, eventually won by Transitus pupil Zu-An Chen. Once pupils had recovered from Law House's indulgent Cake and Candy stall, they took to the field to bring the Fundraising events to a close with the annual Pupils v Staff football match, showing off their youthful energy to overcome their elder opponents!

When all was said and done, Law House were able to raise £7789.43 for the Blantyre Blantyre Project in Malawi. The money raised will go towards the purchase of a fluorescent microscope for a research centre near the hospital in the city of Blantyre, Malawi, allowing them to help detect parasites, and thus infection, in the people of Blantyre and improve healthcare throughout the country.
