From the Rector, Mr John O'Neill

"I wish to extend my warmest congratulations personally and on behalf of the whole School to all our S4 to S6 pupils on achieving such an impressive set of SQA results. Here at the High School we always seek to encourage each and every pupil to do their best in every circumstance and to take hold of the varied opportunities and support around them. These results reflect this ethos and are testament to the hard work of our pupils and the dedication of all our teaching staff. Well done to all!"

In Fifth Year, where our open presentation policy once again saw almost all pupils sit 5 Highers or more, pupils achieved on average 4.9 Higher passes each, a most impressive achievement. 74.9% were grade A passes and the overall pass rate this year was 97%. 13 Higher subjects achieved a 100% pass rate.

45 pupils secured 5 or more Higher passes at grade A.

Our Fourth Year performed very highly, with an excellent 98.2% pass rate; 84.8% at grade A. 9 National 5 subjects achieved a 100% pass rate.

63 pupils gained 8 or 9 National 5 grade A passes.

At Advanced Higher, our Sixth Year performed extremely well with a pass rate of 90.9% with 55.3% at grade A. 21 pupils gained 3 or 4 A grades at Advanced Higher level; and 12 Advanced Higher subjects gained a 100% pass rate.
