From the Rector, Mr John O'Neill

Congratulations are deservedly due to our hardworking Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Year pupils on achieving an excellent set of SQA results for themselves and the School.

In Fifth Year, where our open presentation policy once again saw almost all pupils sit 5 Highers or more,  pupils achieved on average 4.8 Higher passes each.  70.3% were grade A passes and the overall pass rate this year was 97%.

39 pupils secured 5 or more Higher passes at grade A.

Our Fourth Year performed very highly, with an excellent 98.7% pass rate; 86.3% at grade A

58 pupils gained 8 or 9 National 5 grade A passes.

At Advanced Higher, our Sixth Year performed extremely well with a pass rate of 94.2% with 62.3% at grade A.   26 pupils gained 3 or 4 A grades at Advanced Higher level.

These excellent results reflect the commitment, hard work and talent of our young people.   Well done to all and our teaching staff deserve to take credit for their positive contribution to such outstanding results.
