The High School of Glasgow is delighted to report another year of exceptional SQA results across all levels of the Senior School. These achievements reflect the commitment of our pupils, the skill and dedication of our teaching staff and the invaluable encouragement provided by families.

Higher Results (S5)

• 70.9% of all Higher grades awarded were at Grade A
• 95.8% overall Higher pass rate
• 83.9% of S5 pupils achieved five or more Higher passes
• 39 pupils achieved 5 or 6 Grade A passes
• Outstanding subject performances include:
  • Music – 100% at Grade A
  • Modern Studies – 92% at Grade A
  • Computing Science – 91.3% at Grade A
     

National 5 Results (S4)

• 85.8% of all National 5 grades awarded were at Grade A
• 98.1% overall National 5 pass rate
• 53 pupils achieved 8 or more Grade A passes
• 100% Grade A passes in:
  • Art & Design
  • Drama
  • Computing Science
     

Advanced Higher Results (S6)

• 61.3% of all Advanced Higher grades awarded were at Grade A
• 93.2% overall Advanced Higher pass rate
• 24 pupils gained 3 or more Grade A passes
• 100% Grade A passes in subjects including Spanish and Art & Design (Expressive)
