SQA Exam Results 2023

At The High School of Glasgow, with our open presentation policy, we are delighted with the results achieved by our pupils in the recent SQA examinations.

With our pupils sitting five Highers or more and achieving, on average, 4.7 Higher passes per pupil we have witnessed another excellent year.

National 5

Our Fourth Year secured a tremendous 98.3% pass rate at National 5; with 83.2% at A Grade.

56% of pupils secured 8 or 9 Grade A passes in all exams.
 

Higher

At Higher, the overall pass rate was 94.3%, with 71.4% at A Grade, with 46% of Fifth Year pupils gaining 5 or 6 Highers at Grade A.
 

Advanced Higher

At Advanced Higher, our Sixth Year achieved a 93.5% pass rate, with 69.2% at Grade A, with 40 pupils gaining 3 or more Grade A passes in their Advanced Highers.

To our Class of 2023 Leavers’, it is extremely pleasing to note that 100% of those students going to university this year achieved the conditions of their firm offers to study and we wish them well in their future academic journeys.
