Useful Information

The Junior School is open to pupils from 8:00am every day, with our Junior School Office open from 8:00am until 5:00pm.

The Junior School day begins with assembly from 8:55 until 9:10am.

Thereafter, the day is divided into periods to accommodate specialists, while class teachers block time for various activities. 

Junior 1-3: 8:50am - 3:05pm (lunch from 12:20 - 1:20pm)

Junior 4, 5 & 6: 8:50am - 3:15pm (lunch from 12:30 - 1:30pm)

The current Junior School fees are as follows:

Please note: VAT will be charged on the above at the current prevailing rate of 20%, however, this could be subject to change by the Government and will be charged as per the prevailing rate at the time of billing or as per any rules enacted by law that shall apply.

School fees include:

• Tuition

• Textbooks

• Essentials such as stationery and art materials

• Charges for swimming

• Transport for games and selected extra-curricular activities

• Personal accident insurance for each pupil.

Please note, school uniform is not included in the fees.

School uniform is compulsory for every pupil.

School blazers must be worn on arrival to and departure from school.

Junior School pupils can purchase a hot or cold meal from our cafeteria or, alternatively, may opt to bring their own packed lunch.

Our cafeteria service, for pupils in Junior 1 to Junior 6, is run by Compass Scotland. The Compass Group are the longest standing specialist independent school caterer, working with over 100 independent schools across the UK.

Our kitchen and servery areas were refurbished in summer 2021, helping us to cater for hundreds of children each day, with tasty and nutritious meals on offer. The school endeavours to be a ‘nut free zone’.

Parents can view upcoming menus and pay for lunches in advance, using our Parent Portal.

We are located on Ledcameroch Road in Bearsden, a 5 minute walk from Bearsden railway station and near to multiple bus routes on Drymen Road.

Parking is available on Ledcameroch Road and the adjacent Ledcameroch Crescent to help with daily drop-offs and pick-ups.

We are located within a residential area. Therefore, in order to prevent driveways and junctions from being blocked by traffic, and to encourage a more eco-friendly way of living, we encourage families who live locally to either walk or cycle to and from school. We have secure bike storage available on site, keeping your mode of transport safe until home time!

We also operate a bus service that runs from the south side of Glasgow to the Junior School in Bearsden, via our Senior School in Anniesland.
