Participation is key to getting the most out of The High School experience. Taking part and trying new things is unquestionably the best way for every child to develop their interests and discover their passions.
Whether taking to the field for school sport, discovering our creative arts offering or getting involved in exciting local excursions, we encourage pupils to push beyond their comfort zones and be actively involved in activities away from the classroom.
Nowhere is this more evident than our Junior School Committees. We believe that in order for our school to grow and evolve, our pupils' voices must be heard. Within our 10 junior committees, every pupil is encouraged to help make decisions and help shape various areas of Junior School life.
Each committee meet fortnightly, working together to set aims and achieve goals within their assigned areas. Since the launch of our committee programme in 2019, the magnificent work of our pupils have included the design of our recently opened trim trail and the introduction of new road safety patrols to manage traffic during pick-up and drop off times.
Our current committees include: Digi-Leads, Eco Committee, Road Safety, Health and Wellbeing, Global Citizenship, Pupil Council, Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, Learning and Teaching Committee, Seesaw and our Ships' Committee.
