HSOG Community

Pupils may leave The High School of Glasgow at the end of each and every session...but The High School of Glasgow never truly leaves our pupils.

Our community sees former pupils, parents and friends of the School reach out to one another for social, networking, careers and mentoring opportunities, with a valuable programme of cultural, business and philanthropic events on offer for the whole community to get involved in.

From hearing the thoughts of industry leaders at our Business Breakfast events to raising money for worthy causes at our Charity Golf Days, our community of former pupils relish upholding The High School of Glasgow's motto:

"SURSUM SEMPER"
EVER UPWARDS!

My time at The High School gave me not only a high quality of education, but also essential people skills and experience, equipping me for university and life beyond.

Fiona Lake - Former Pupil

The most significant thing I learnt during my time at The High School of Glasgow was resilience, which I also see mirrored in that of my former classmates.

Keith Mackiggan - Former Pupil

My time at The High School gave me an education and set of extra-curricular interests that got me into Cambridge University to study Law, opening up life opportunities I believe would never have been open to me otherwise.

Neil Mackie - Former Pupil

My time at The High School afforded me opportunities and life skills which have shaped my adult life. An education at The High School is about so much more than grades.

Tom Kerr - Former Pupil

I loved my time at The High School of Glasgow and have many fond memories. I have made connections for life and I have no doubts that my many positive experiences at the School continue to serve me in a personal and professional capacity today.
