The High School of Glasgow owes much of its continuing success to the strength of its vast community of alumni. Consider this the focal point for all former pupils of the School.

The High School of Glasgow has always been generously supported by the wide community of alumni. Throughout the year, we host many alumni-related events that welcome those who contribute to life at the School - former pupils, friends and parents - to commemorate and celebrate with us. Find out more about upcoming and recent events here.

Annual Fund

Over the last five years, through the generosity of the High School community and all who have supported, our Annual Fund appeals have raised over £700,000.

Donations to the Annual Fund have helped to facilitate a wide range of projects at both the Junior and Senior Schools including the refurbishment of the Lecture Theatre, the Astroturf pitch, the Junior School Assembly Hall, the improvement of Pipe Band equipment, a new organ and minibus and the construction of a Health and Wellbeing Centre at the Senior School. Donations to bursaries through the Annual Fund have also provided a number of children with the all-round educational experience of the High School.

The 2018/19 appeal launched in September 2018, with the focus for this year's appeal again being on bursaries, as well as creating improved outdoor space at the Junior School and acquiring memorial benches to commemorate High School former pupils who died during the Great War and the Second World War.
