Transport

Your children's safety is paramount as they travel to and from our Junior School in Bearsden and Senior School in Anniesland.

Both our Junior and Senior School campuses are handily located within walking distance of prominent transport routes, allowing for our children to safely make their way to school each day.

The Kindergarten and Junior School, located on Ledcameroch Road in Bearsden, is served by Bearsden train station, just a 5 minute walk away.

The Senior School is located in the very heart of Anniesland and can be easily accessed via public transport. Both Anniesland and Jordanhill train stations are a 5-10 minute walk away, providing direct routes to and from Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations as well as frequent services to and from the nearby suburbs of Bearsden and Milngavie.

School Bus Service

The School has a bus service which runs between the south side of Glasgow and the Junior School in Bearsden, via the Senior School in Anniesland. The service is run by parents and caters to pupils of all ages, providing a reliable service to get your child to and from school quickly and safely.

The bus service begins in Newton Mearns and covers Giffnock, Newlands, Pollokshields and Dumbreck. It then travels along the Clydeside Expressway and stops at the bus stop on Crow Road to allow Senior School pupils to get off and pupils living in the west end to get on. The bus then continues on, arriving at the Junior School for 8:35 am.

The return journey sees the bus leave the Junior School at 3:20pm and travel directly to the Senior School for 3:35pm before continuing to the south side.

The bus used ranges from a 16 to 22 seater, depending on demand. We are lucky enough to have an excellent regular driver, who takes a register every morning and evening and quickly gets to know the children.

Places can be booked on a weekly basis (eg. 5 mornings a week or 5 afternoons a week) or on a flexible basis (eg. every Monday and Thursday morning or Wednesday afternoons).

Junior School

The Junior School operates a one way system through Ledcameroch Crescent and back down Ledcameroch Road, allowing for the free flow of traffic.

Keeping traffic away from the immediate entry to the school ensures the safety of all of our pupils.

Senior School

The Senior School campus at Old Anniesland allows for vehicular access, meaning pupils can be picked up and dropped off safely in the car park within our grounds.

Parents may either drive up the road along the side of our extensive playing fields and drop off/pick up within the school car park, or children can be dropped off safely near the Anniesland Road entrance.

There is no vehicular access to the school from Crow Road and it is not possible to drop pupils at the Crow Road entrance.
