My years at the School afforded me such a wide variety of experiences. In addition to an excellent academic education, I was able to play rugby for the 1st XV, perform as Elvis on stage, travel across the world and make lifelong friends.

The High School of Glasgow truly is a very special place. From the first time I walked through the door for my interview, I knew from the ethos, and from the members of staff I encountered, that I was crossing the threshold into a centre of excellence.
We planned to apply for a place for Ruby at Senior School in due course, but took the opportunity to apply to join the Junior School when we relocated to Bearsden. The admissions team were extremely helpful and flexible, fitting around our house move and it was a seamless and stress-free transition for Ruby to join in Junior 3.
I have loved every minute of working at this unique school since I started in August 2020. It truly reflects the values that it promotes in that it is people centred, ambitious, innovative and community minded.
Since joining The High School of Glasgow three years ago I have watched both my children grow and develop in every aspect of their character
