Triumph at Glasgow Primary Schools' Swimming

High School swimmers from Junior 5, Junior 6 and Transitus achieved a haul of 18 individual and 6 team medals in the Glasgow Primary Schools Finals at Drumchapel Pool on Monday 26th February.

Many pupils were able to win multiple individual medals on the day, as well as contributing to team relay success. Eklavya Singh (J6) particularly excelled as the High School's top performer, winning two individual Golds and playing a crucial part in the 11 Years Boys Relay Team's Gold medal-winning performance.

  • 11 Years Girls' Relay Team (winning the Dykes Trophy) - Grace Noonan (Trans), Lucy Howie, Aliyah Lamb and Erin Morgan (all J6)
  • 11 Years Boys' Relay Team (winning the Milne Trophy) - Sandy Fraser, Max Hyslop, Eklavya Singh and Mark Zimmer (all J6) 
  • 10 Years Girls' Relay Team (winning the Robert Smith Memorial Trophy) - Ellie Burns, Nicola Dry, Maya Marshall and Olivia McKnight (all J5)
